Renown Charioteer Eli, of the Chariots of Iron joins me as co-host this we wade through another week’s worth of craziness.

Hey Christians: “love thy neighbor” is not bible code for “water-board thy neighbor.” Hey Neal: raping animals is not normal. Not even in Georgia. Hey Saudi Scholars: If they are old enough to marry, they are old enough to collect alimony. Hey FBI: quit groveling. Hey “Israeli Official”: pig pig pig pig pig pig pig pig pig pig. Hey Catholic Church: grow a sack. Hey atheists: high five!

I had a lot of fun with Eli this week,
Enjoy!

One of my students just wrote about Borat meeting with Alan Keyes. Yep, he’s a bible-believing straight man who’s called homosexuality simple hedonism, and he kicked his daughter Maya out when she came out as a lesbian.

You have to wonder about the hedonism thing, though. If Keyes thinks homosexuality is just a descent into hedonism, that means he’s nervous that if he can’t keep on the straight and narrow, he’ll end up sleeping with a dude.

I have to say, as someone who has drunk deeply from the cups of hedonism, it never led me nor any of my sinner friends to unwillingly alter their sexual preference. Maybe Keyes is gay.

Ok, when I hover my pointer over the “Download Episode 005″ I don’t get the pointy finger that lets me right click and get the “Save Target As…”. (Am I the only one that notices this wierdness?) I did subscribe to iTunes but I didn’t like it. Keep up the great work. I really enjoy the sharp wit and sarcasim. I live in Colorado Springs, CO not too far from Focus On the Family. I’ve seen some bumper stickers here that read “Focus on your on damn family!” I often listen to your podcast while driving since I’m on the road a lot (200 miles a day is not uncommon) and it sort of counteracts all of the fish, crosses and “real men love jesus” stickers.

I have often contemplated this. I have never felt the urge to have sexual contact with other men, so it always makes me laugh when the religious try to pitch homosexuality as something akin to drug abuse. Something we would all enjoy and will forever find tempting.

I think it’s just you, my man. You can go here and see if the links works:

Keep up the good work you guys. I love the pod-casts. It helps me get through my nights at work where I am trapped with a bunch of religious whackaloons. Now I just pop in my ear-buds and hit play instead of constantly trying to explain why there are STILL monkeys.

It was good to hear Eli on your news podcast!
