Mark joins me this week for atheist news and letters. A big thank-you to everyone who voted for us this year for the podcast awards, and hey, it looks like it’s time to do it again! Well, sort of. This time talk about the About.com “Readers’ Choice Awards 2011.” And this time you can vote for more than just podcasts. They have all sorts of categories over there.
In the news with week we have all sorts of nonsense, from confused politicians who have yet to come to terms with the separation of church and state, to confused Haitians who have yet to come to terms with the germ theory of disease. Oh yes, it is a week of confusion. There is even some confusion over the existence of unicorns. I shit you not.

Love your podcast! Just wanted to say, I thought that mentioning Napster doesn’t age you at all. I am a twenty-something and I know what it is. Napster was a music revolution and is totally relevant. Good going with that analogy!
Thanks for awesome and interesting talk!

Is it possible you guys can say ‘uh’, ‘um’, ‘ek cetera’, ‘y’know’ or ‘I don’t know’ any more than you already do? Your poor speaking ability makes me laugh when you discuss podcasting awards.
Listen to Episode 039 and count how many times you two tripped over your tongues and couldn’t get your thoughts together before speaking. It is very distracting.
On a positive note, you hardly ever say ‘like’.
